Every Day Is Thanksgiving In Serbia
On November 22nd, I left St. Helena for Belgrade to get a minor surgery, canceling plans for a quintessential Turkey-and-Pumpkin-Pie Thanksgiving with some family friends. I had the opportunity to get the surgery for a price substantially lower than the deductible of my atrocious insurance, so I seized it, buying a ticket and hopping on a plane. Then another plane.
